The Holme Hall Inn (formerly, the Holmebrook Tavern) is set to have its grand re-opening on Friday 12th April after a major joint investment of £200,000 by new licensees Embankment Inns Ltd and owners Punch Taverns, one of the UK's leading pub companies and as a result, approximately 15 new jobs have been created.

Inside, the pub has been completely redecorated in a contemporary style throughout.

The pub, which has always been well-known for its sports facilities, will now screen Sky Sports and provide free WiFi. More notably, the dining area has been updated with new furniture and fittings and a new menu will feature traditional pub favourites. The value menu will incorporate a 'two for £10' deal, served daily, plus a specials board and regular themed nights will be held.

The pub on Linacre Road in Chesterfield, will also offer a good range of lagers, cask ales, wines, minerals and coffee.

Russ Hayler, Director at Embankment Inns Ltd, is looking forward to the reopening: "Embankment Inns are excited about this latest venture with our partners, Punch Taverns. We have a good trade history with Punch and we will be working closely with Matthew Gaunt to grow and develop the Holme Hall Inn.

"Previously, the pub looked tired and dated and the cash injection has given it the stylish appearance it needed. The pub looks fantastic and I can't believe the transformation. The investment has bought the pub back to its former glory as well as introducing some new menus and facilities.

"Our focus will be on value dining and drinking, whilst delivering a great customer experience. We aim to provide a warm welcome as well as a relaxed and friendly environment. The team and I look forward to the reopening and welcoming some old and new faces back to the Holme Hall Inn to try the food and drink in their new look local."

Punch Taverns' Partnership Development Manager, Matthew Gaunt, is also looking forward to the launch: It's great that Punch can invest in their pubs and with this investment, we essentially want to position the Holme Hall Inn as one of the leading pubs in the area.Punch Taverns' Partnership Development Manager, Matthew Gaunt, is also looking forward to the launch: "It's great that Punch can invest in their pubs and with this investment, we essentially want to position the Holme Hall Inn as one of the leading pubs in the area.

"The aim is to provide great drinks and destination dining at good value for residents in Newbold and the surrounding areas of Chesterfield."
