Owls Cup Date Fixed


Tuesday 7th September 2010 Chesterfield's Johnstone's Paint Trophy second round game against Sheffield wed at Hillsborough has been fixed for Wednesday 6th October - kick off 7.15 pm. It's also been revealed that the game will be shown live on Sky Sports.

In the first round the Spireites beat league one side Walsall away 2-1, whilst the Owls beat Notts County 2-1 at home.

The two clubs have agreed greatly reduced ticket prices for the game at a cost of just £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions.  Prices will double on the day of the match though - adults £10 and concessions* will pay £5.

*Concessions are for Juveniles U18, Senior Citizens 65+, Students with valid SU Card, Armed Forces with a Forces Card. The concession does not apply on matchday, for advance tickets only.

Supporters entering Hillsborough with concessionary tickets may be subject to a random check and should carry ID to justify the concessionary ticket they hold.

Chesterfield fans will be located in the Sheffield Childrens Hospital Carling West Stand (behind the goal).

Match tickets for Chesterfield fans go on sale from 9.00am, Thursday 9th September at the Spireites Ticket Office.

Official away travel with True Blue Travel costs £6.50. A combined away travel and match ticket can be purchased from the Spireites Club Shop and costs Adults £11.50 and Concessions £9.00.

True Blue Travel coaches will leave the B2net Stadium at 5.45pm.
