Family Fun At Tupton

Friday 10th June 2011

Residents in Tupton and the surrounding villages are invited a football tournament and family fun day organised by their local police.

Officers from the Clay Cross Safer Neighbourhood Teams have planned the event at Tupton Hall School on Sunday, June 12th.

The day will start with two five-a-side football tournaments for children aged ten to 13-year-olds and 14 to 17-year-olds. Games get underway from 9am.

There will also be stalls, refreshments and other activities for families to take part in including beer goggles racing and laser quest.

PC Andrew Cropper, who organised the event, said: "It should be a really fun day and we hope to see lots of people there.

"As well as different activities for all the family there is a chance for visitors to get to know their local police officers and find out what we are doing in the community."

Entries are now closed for the football tournament.

For more information contact PC Andrew Cropper on 0345 123 3333 or email: claycross.neighbourhoods@derbyshire.pnn.police.uk.
