Tickets Please

Thursday 30th December 2010

With no Chesterfield fixtures played for 3 weeks and fans craving their football fix, Chesterfield Football Club is advising that this weekend's crowd could be a bumper one.

Table Toppers The Spireites take on Stockport County at the B2 Net on New Year’s Day (KO 3pm) and the club is keen to ensure supporters can get to see the game without any problems.

Entry to the game is by ticket only, purchased in advance from the ticket office as there is no cash payment available at the turnstiles. Due to New Year's Eve celebrations, there is no late night opening on Friday night for the ticket office this week.

CFC chief executive Carol Wilby said: "With all the signs of another bumper crowd we are urging fans to get a ticket early from the ticket office, or over the telephone, so everything runs smoothly on match day."

She added: "Everyone played their part when we had our last bumper gate of nearly 8,000 against Burton Albion in November, but that can only happen if fans get their tickets in advance."

The Spireites ticket office is open this Thursday 9.00am to 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am to 4.00pm, and Saturday morning from 10.00am.

Tickets can be purchased over the telephone and picked up from a separate collection point on match day. The ticket line is 01246 488 232.
