Josh Law Named Players' Player Of The Season

Wednesday 1st June 2011

Alfreton Town's 2011 Presentation Evening saw a packed house at the Boundary in South Normanton enjoy an excellent night.

Josh Law receives the Players' Player of the Season

Josh Law took the top accolade of his fellow team-mates when he was presented with the Players' Player of the Season Award (above) by guests of honour, Alfreton Town Council Deputy Mayor Rob Johnson and his Consort, Councillor Emma Sowter.

The Manager's Player of the Season was presented to Nicky Law's respected and trusted second-in-command Russ O'Neill. Manager Law said: "Without Russ's fantastic efforts, I would not be able to do my job". Law felt it was impossible to single one player out from what had been an outstanding effort by every member of the squad in winning the Blue Square Bet North.

The Supporters' Player of the Season was presented by Association Chairman John Staimar to striker Liam Hearn who also received the Leading Goalscorer Award from guests of honour Amber Valley Borough Council Mayor Ron Ashton and Mayoress Mrs Nancy Ashton.
