Staveley MWFC Junior Results from 8th January

Staveley MWFC's Junior results from January 8th.

Staveley's Under 16's were away at Sheffield Wednesday Young Owls.

Brad Smith
got the all important goal to win a very tight game, 1-0. Man of the match was Tom Young


Staveley's Under 15's
entertained Ecclesall Rangers at home, winning the game 3-1. Goals scored by Josh Wileman (2) and Alex Fox. Man of the match went to Che Anderson.


Staveley's under 14's
were away at SUJB, and won the game 1-0. Goal scored by Casey Martin.


Staveley's Under 13's
were at home against Stocksbridge Park Steel, and won the fixture 7-0.

First half goals came from a penalty converted by Max Hunt and Ali Dungworth The second half saw Ali adding a further 3 goals to his tally, and Jack Begley and Sammy Hawes both scoring 1 goal. Man of the match went to Ben Edgson.


Staveley's Under 11's
set the early pace with another early goal from the scoring machine that is Daniel Riley (2) against Dronfield.

With a captain fantastic role from Adam Sadler too in midfield, who won the man of the match award. Medhi Khalifa scored 1. Dronfield came back into the game early in the second half but a missed penalty inspired Staveley to go and score a vital 3rd goal, taking 3 more points towards their promotion push.


Staveley's Under 10's
were away at SUJB which saw the first game tied at 1-1 and the second lost 5-1.

Goal scorers were Oliver Wilson and Jamie Rousell. Man of the match awards went to Kai Pollard and Jamie Rousell.


Staveley's under 9's
lost against Earl Marshall, 9-0.

Man of the match awards went to David Hyman who had a good match in defence and GK Ben Collins, who pulled off some great saves.
