Get Wed At The Winding Wheel

One of Chesterfield's premier venues is now licensed to hold wedding and civil partnership ceremonies.

The Winding Wheel, on Holywell Street, owned and run by Chesterfield Borough Council, is able to offer two alternative locations for the ceremony.

These are either in the elegant surroundings of the Ballroom, holding up to 200 guests, or in the Grand Auditorium, holding up to 400 guests. Ceremonies held in the auditorium have the added option of allowing the happy couple to get married on the stage.

Councillor Amanda Serjeant, Chesterfield Borough Council's Executive Member for Leisure, Culture and Tourism said: The Winding Wheel is a fantastic venue for any bride and groom for their big day.The Winding Wheel is also able to stage the wedding breakfast and also provide different wedding reception options to suit different needs and budgets, with the option to self-cater.

Councillor Amanda Serjeant, Chesterfield Borough Council's Executive Member for Leisure, Culture and Tourism (left) said: "The Winding Wheel is a fantastic venue for any bride and groom for their big day.

"With the different room options available, there is something to suit every different ceremony and reception, taking a lot of the stress and hassle out of organising a wedding."
