New Venue For Saturday Morning Club

Friday 7th January 2011

It's not only Chesterfield's first team that is playing in a new home this season. From tomorrow, The Spireites popular Saturday Morning Club, organised by Chesterfield FC Community Trust, has a new venue too.

Chesterfield FC Community TrustsSaturday Morning Club's New VenueThe fun-filled soccer training camps are being held for the first time at Brookfield Community School, Chatsworth Road, Chesterfield,

The playing surface is a state-of-the-art, 3G, all-weather rubber crumb pitch that was installed at the specialist sports college only last year and will be useful during the bad winter weather.

The format hasn't changed though - as usual there will be three sessions of junior football coaching running during the morning from 9:30am - Mini Kickers for ages 5-7 years, Juniors for ages 8-12 years, and the specialist goalkeepers course for ages 7-14 years (using the grass area)

There are also Spireites Saturday Morning Clubs running in North East Derbyshire at Dronfield Leisure Centre from 9:30am and Sharley Park Leisure Centre (Clay Cross) from 10am.

These are run in partnership with North East Derbyshire District Council as part of the Council's new 'Just Do More!' initiative.

Mini Kickers - £3.00
Time - 9.30am - 11.00am

Juniors - £3.50
Time - 9.30am - 11.30am

Goalkeepers - £5.00
Time - 9.30am - 11.00am
(Brookfield venue only)

The Spireites Community team look forward to welcoming youngsters to any of the venues.

For more information ring 01246 209765, Andy Morris on 07896 315058 or Email booking@cfccommunitytrust.co.uk

Participants will be required to wear suitable sportswear for the sessions at all venues.
